Prior to joining Watiga Legal, Chi Heng worked at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore in the area of international tax and assisted in a range of matters arising under Singapore’s double tax treaty network.
As part of the Singapore Bar requirements, Chi Heng completed his legal training in a Singapore tax and private client practice and has gained exposure in a variety of Singapore contentious and non-contentious tax and private client matters.
Chi Heng graduated from the University of Leicester with a Bachelor of Laws and King’s College London with a Master of Laws in International Tax Law.
Prior to studying law, Chi Heng also completed examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, specialising in Advanced Taxation and Advanced Assurance.
Chi Heng is admitted to practice as a lawyer in Singapore.
